At GAREC Enterprises, we believe that sustainable businesses are the key to lasting change. Our current project—launching a bakery in Haiti—aims to provide high-quality baked goods while empowering local entrepreneurs and workers.
GAREC, that stands for “Groupe d’Action pour la Relance Économique du Plateau Central“, was created for the purpose of launching multiple business initiatives in Mirebalais, and many surrounding towns in the Bas Plateau Central in Haiti. Initiated by Jean Clement Fede and François J. Sylvain, and registered in New York, the business aims at launching a bakery project soon. It’s a multi-members LLC, currently comprised of 70+ members (investors).
